Since 2015
An established local business
More than ten years of cleaning across Tunbridge Wells, with coverage reaching Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Southborough, Crowborough, East Grinstead, Edenbridge and Paddock Wood.
Recommended growth plan for ZHD Cleaning Ltd
ZHD already has the reputation, experience and foundations of a strong local cleaning business. Our recommendation is not to start by spending more money chasing new enquiries. It is to make sure every opportunity you already have is captured, followed up and properly worked, and to use the customer base and reputation you have built since 2015 to create new commercial opportunities.
Where ZHD is starting from
Most growth plans assume a business needs more enquiries before anything else. Looking at ZHD, that isn't the obvious first move. The business already holds a lot of the things that newer competitors spend years and a great deal of money trying to build, and the first job is to get full value from them.

Reputation
Your Google reviews and the dozens of testimonials on your website cover carpet rescues, end of tenancy cleans, post build cleans and commercial kitchens. That kind of detail is hard to fake and persuasive to a buyer.
Commercial credibility
Your website shows commercial clients including Premier Inn, Holland & Barrett, Bennett Memorial and Capel Primary School. Those names do a lot of work when an office or facilities manager is deciding who to trust.
Services in place
You already have pages for office, commercial, warehouse, builders, school, nursery, restaurant and kitchen, and gym and leisure cleaning. The commercial offer exists. The opportunity is in making more of it.
Customer data
Every domestic customer, commercial client, quote and enquiry since 2015 is a potential relationship. In most businesses that information sits across phones, inboxes and spreadsheets, and very little of it is ever used again.
Trust signals
A DBS checked, fully insured team with accredited qualifications, working seven days a week and promising a reply within hours and a quote within 48 hours. That promise is exactly what a commercial buyer wants to hear.
The better question
The usual questionHow do we generate more leads?
The one we think matters moreHow do we make sure every opportunity ZHD already has is captured, followed up, reactivated, nurtured and converted, before spending significantly more money generating new demand?
The plan at a glance
We are not suggesting ZHD signs up for everything at once. Phase one builds the foundation and includes enough early activity to start producing opportunities from what you already have. Each later phase is optional and is added only when there is a commercial reason for it.
Why TradeEngine comes first
TradeEngine is ZHD's enquiry, follow up and customer growth infrastructure. It is where every enquiry lands, whether it comes from the website, a missed call, Google or a message, and it makes sure each one gets a prompt reply, a clear next step and a follow up that happens whether or not anyone remembers to do it.
Right now a lot of booking, communication and admin runs through you personally. That works, and it is part of why customers trust ZHD, but it also means the business can only follow up as well as your week allows. We think the time TradeEngine gives back is just as valuable as the extra work it helps win, so we have given both equal weight below.
Your website already promises a reply within a few hours and a quote within 48 hours. TradeEngine is what helps that promise hold during your busiest weeks.

Pipeline stage 1 of 5: New enquiry
What changes day to day
Nothing on the left is a problem in itself. It is how most owner led businesses run, and it works well until the week gets busy. The TradeEngine column shows which of those steps the system can take on, so your time goes on the jobs and the conversations that need you.
The database you already own
After more than ten years of trading, ZHD is likely to hold a large number of contacts: previous domestic and commercial customers, historic enquiries, quotes that did not proceed, customers who haven't booked for six months, customers who haven't booked for twelve months or longer, old commercial prospects, past carpet cleaning and deep cleaning customers, and property related contacts such as builders, landlords and letting agents, as well as offices and schools. Each of those people already knows the name, and many will have been happy with the work.
That is why working this data is a key part of phase one, not an afterthought. Before spending more on reaching new people, it makes sense to reconnect properly with the people who already know ZHD.
The problem with most customer lists is that they are treated as one group, and the only thing that ever goes out is a generic mailshot. TradeEngine lets us import what you have, sort it into sensible groups and give each group a message that fits its relationship with ZHD. A landlord who booked an end of tenancy clean needs a very different conversation to an office that asked for a quote two years ago.
Select a group to see who is in it and how we would approach them. Groups are illustrative and will be built from your real data during setup.
These are examples of tone and intent rather than final copy. Every message would be written with you, sent by email or SMS depending on the group, and signed off before anything goes out.
Where could the first opportunities come from?
Before a single pound goes on new advertising, there are at least eight places where opportunities already exist or already arrive. TradeEngine brings them into one place and gives each one a proper next step.
TradeEngine
Commercial focus
Commercial contracts tend to be recurring, predictable and easier to schedule around. Some of the sectors below are already covered on your website. Others are target opportunities we would explore with you, based on where ZHD has the right experience and capacity.
TradeEngine has a dedicated domestic pipeline too. Carpet and upholstery customers get timely reminders, end of tenancy customers are remembered for the next tenancy change, and happy domestic clients are asked for reviews that also help commercial buyers trust you. Domestic customers can also be a quiet route into commercial work. Some of them manage offices, run shops or own rental properties, and a well timed message can open that conversation.
Phase one is a proper implementation project rather than a software switch on. We map how enquiries currently reach ZHD and move through the business, then build and configure the operating system around that process: pipelines, messaging, bookings, follow ups, reviews and reporting. We import and segment your existing customers and enquiries, test everything before it goes live, and then run your first reactivation campaign with you, so the system is being used commercially from the start.
This is the work of building ZHD's enquiry operation. Each part is configured around how ZHD actually works, written in your voice and tested before launch.
Once ZHD's customer and enquiry data has been imported, cleaned and segmented, we will identify the segment most likely to produce a useful early response and run ZHD's first targeted reactivation campaign through TradeEngine. Phase one is not about installing software and leaving you to it. The system starts being used commercially straight away.
These are examples only. We will choose the segment together once we can see your data, and we can't guarantee how any group will respond.
These are part of implementing TradeEngine properly for ZHD. They are not separate products or add ons, and they are included so the system starts earning its place from the first month.
Once ZHD has a system that can properly handle and nurture enquiries, it makes sense to bring more relevant local commercial prospects into it. Local Search Essentials is a focused local visibility service designed to keep ZHD's Google Business Profile active, strengthen existing priority pages, monitor local search performance and make small ongoing improvements where they matter most.
Each month we prioritise the activity most likely to improve ZHD's local visibility rather than working through a fixed checklist. We don't promise rankings, and nobody honestly can. What we can promise is steady, sensible work on the things that tend to move local visibility.
Larger content projects, new landing pages or substantial technical work can be scoped separately if and when they are commercially justified. That way the monthly fee stays focused on the work most likely to make a difference, and you only commit to bigger projects when there is a clear reason to.
These are potential opportunities to explore over time. They are not page builds included in the £199 monthly fee, and they are not guaranteed rankings or guaranteed future pages. Several already have a page on your site that could be strengthened with photographs, reviews and short case studies.
Our approach: we would rather build a smaller number of genuinely useful pages, supported by real jobs, photographs, reviews and case studies, than publish dozens of thin location pages. Useful pages tend to convert better, and they hold up far better over time.
We don't recommend putting significant Meta spend behind ZHD straight away. The sensible order is to build the tracking, build the audiences and create first party data, which all starts during phase one, and only then use remarketing. Rather than advertising cold to everyone in Kent, ZHD can stay visible to people who already know the company, or who closely resemble customers you have already won.
This is designed as a focused remarketing programme rather than full scale Meta advertising management. It does not cover large cold acquisition or awareness campaigns, lead generation campaigns, multiple campaign types, full social media management or high volume creative production. If any of those become worthwhile later, we would scope them separately.
Select any stage to see what happens there. Each completed job ends by making the next audience a little stronger.
We are not against Google Ads. Used well, paid search can be an excellent way to reach commercial buyers who are actively looking. What we want to avoid is spending money on ads before the business has the systems and the budget to make proper use of them.
Your earlier campaign was a reasonable test. The difference later on is that TradeEngine will have been recording where enquiries come from and what happens to them, so any decision about paid search will be based on ZHD's own figures rather than guesswork.
With those numbers in hand, ZHD can decide how much a commercial enquiry is worth paying for, and whether Google Ads should be part of the plan. If it should, we will scope and price it at that point.
Investment
TradeEngine is included by default and can't be switched off, because it is the foundation we are recommending. Switch the optional services on or off to see how the monthly figure changes.
Your selection
TradeEngine only
Meta advertising spend is additional and paid by ZHD directly to Meta.
Advertising spend is never included in these figures. Local Search Essentials and Meta Remarketing can each be cancelled with 30 days notice.
How we have approached this
This proposal has been phased on purpose. The aim is to build the system first, show that it is producing value, and then add further growth activity only where there is a clear commercial reason to do so. The growth services outside the TradeEngine foundation run on a flexible basis: Local Search Essentials and Meta Remarketing can each be cancelled with 30 days notice, with no long term lock in, so if something isn't pulling its weight, you can stop it.
Next steps
Our recommendation is to begin with TradeEngine, use ZHD's existing customer and enquiry data to create early opportunities, and then introduce local SEO, remarketing and potentially paid search in stages, each one when the business is ready for it. For £1,499 to set up and £349 a month, the core system is in place, along with enough launch activity to start getting more from everything ZHD has already built.
